We Serve

Our Church

Members and friends of our congregation assist in worship by ushering, acting as Worship Assistant, or operating the sound system.

After each service, sound operators make CD’s of the service that are delivered to shut-ins on Monday.

With leadership from the Family Parish Team, we show the love of Christ to each other by visiting the home bound,

offering a casserole ministry, hosting funeral dinners, extending greetings to those celebrating special occasions, and providing opportunities for fellowship at special luncheons following worship, an annual picnic, a Maundy Thursday dinner, and organizing a monthly Sunday lunch.

Some members of the congregation serve on our ruling body, the Session, who is tasked with overseeing all aspects of church operation.

Several members of our congregation maintain gardens on church grounds and share the bounty with guests at the Free Community Breakfast, with people attending Sunday worship, and at The Soul Platter Cafe.
